Good alimni network. Good reputation that opens doors.

  • Alumni
    Economics, Class of 2011

We have a career center where you can make an appointment with someone for advice on resumes, cover letters, and job applications in general. We are also a part of the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium, which offers students a better chance of interviewing with certain companies.

    3 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Mathematics , Class of 2002

All classes were conducted with a view towards critical thinking. This is a great way to prepare students for any "real world" situation or career.

    B.A., Class of 1994

I don't know what they do now, it was over 20 years ago.

  • Alumni
    Economics, Class of 2011

It's the kids in high school who are a bit different who are usually attracted to this school. The culture is extremely liberal with a healthy dose of idealism.

    5 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Mathematics , Class of 2002

We put the "liberal" in liberal arts

    5 Rated January 2016

"People who were weird in high school fit right in at Oberlin."

    5 Rated January 2016

  • Alumni
    Biology, Neuroscience, Class of 2002

    mix of dated and new

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    Economics, Class of 2011

The dorms are adequate, but nothing special. However, the school has started updating the dorms and making them nicer. The dining halls and classrooms are perfectly fine, though the art facilities are particularly nice. To me, the star is the library. It has four floors of a variety of study environments.

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
    B.A., Class of 1994

A little less than perfectly maintained.
