Students and Culture

What letter grade would you give the students/culture at your school?

3.125 Based on 8 Reviews
  • Alumni
secondary education english science , Class of 1993

you are tyring to learn how to deal with various ethinc backgrounds, languages that are not english speakers for 1st language, how to teach in different modalites since some learn hands on/mechanically, some by reading, some by role play, others like to talk about what they learned or need to know more about since the students may not have had the same experiences you had as a teacher.

    4 Rated January 2016
  • Alumni
B.S. in Natural Science, Minor in Anthropology, Class of 1987

Evening college was where the students who really wanted to learn, were at. Had to take 1 geology course in daytime, to get enough hours, and if you wanted to hear the lecture, you better sit in the front 2-3 rows. Everybody else was talking about dates, parties, etc. Evening college would get an A, day school a C-.

its been quite a while since I was on campus, but I would imagine still traditional students entering shortly after finishing high school
